Our second cake in our new spring I Do! Collection is a take on the current trend that is popping up in many 2016 wedding ceremony and reception decor: wood laser cut outs. Keeping with last years rustic trend, we’ve incorporated the look of laser cut wood into our rosette cake.

Paired with a soft pastel blue fondant background, the rosette cut pattern is the star of this creation. Completely cut from gumpaste, an edible sugar paste, the soft beige and deep espresso brown pairs beautifully with the soft blue hue. Topped with a white sugar flower arrangement, we accented the bouquet with fresh spring green leaves. Pinks and coral would also pair nicely.
