When should I place my order?
Right now! Availability is secured for your day and placed in our production schedule as soon as you place the order. Although it is recommended to do so 6 months prior to the event, our schedule fills up due to high demand.
Help! My wedding is 2 weeks away and I need a cake!
If you require a cake on short notice, give us a call! Depending on our existing orders, we may be able to accommodate your order. Please note there is a $100 premium added to last minute orders.
Do I have to decide on the final details right now?
Not at all! At your initial consultation, you'll be able to try all of our flavors as well as discuss and receive a quote on your desired design. Price quoted is guaranteed for 14 days. If you would like to proceed with booking you receive another consultation closer to the date of the event at which time final details can be decided.
How much deposit do you require?
We require $100 as a deposit and the remaining balance will be due 1 week prior to the event.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept interac email transfers
What flavors do you offer and can I choose more than 1?
We offer a vanilla or chocolate sponge base, paired with their complimenting fillings. Each tier has 4 layers of cake with 3 layers of filling. The option of multiple flavors is available at an additional cost of $15/flavor. Read more about our flavours.

Do you accommodate allergy or dietary restrictions?
Because we work with nuts, we cannot guarantee a nut free product. With regards to dietary restrictions, our recipes cannot be altered without compromising the quality of the product and therefore cannot accommodated at this time.
Can I drop by to view the shop and portfolio of designs?
Absolutely! Due to the overwhelming response, we are opening up our showroom doors on select Saturdays and Sundays with no appointment necessary. Please visit the website’s homepage frequently for up to date information for our Open House.
Consultations are reserved for couples who have already left a deposit and are available by appointment on Saturdays. If you are interested in our services and would like to further inquire, we encourage you to visit us during our Open House hours and deposits can be made at that time.
What can I expect during a consultation?
We allot 45 minutes for each couple during which time we'll discuss design, provide pricing and sampling of our variety of flavors. There is no cost for the initial and final consultation, however if you require more than the 2 provided consultations, there will be an additional $45 fee added to the order.
How many people can attend the consultation?
We understand the excitement involved with purchasing and designing a wedding, however, we prefer to work closely with our couples. Our showroom is cozy and quaint, and for consideration of other consultations, our shop can not accommodate large groups.
How do I know how many servings to order?
During your consultation you will be asked about your other offerings at the end of the meal. We usually recommend aiming to serve 65-70% of your total guest count.
I don't know how many will be attending. How do I know what size to order?
For this reason, we offer total flexibility to change your order up to 1 month prior to event. To place the order, we estimate the size of cake needed and if you choose to lower or raise the final servings, price will be adjusted to the final balance.
Do you deliver?
Yes. Our delivery fee is $95 in the GTA. We coordinate with your venue directly to confirm time, leaving you with one less thing to worry about! All of our cakes are delivered with an extra box for your top anniversary tier.
How far do you deliver?
We currently service venues within the GTA. For deliveries out of the GTA an additional fee may apply, please contact us for details.
What if I had a particular design in mind? Can I bring in a photo?
Absolutely! We encourage our couples to do some research prior to booking a consultation. If there is a particular design you would like us to quote on, please feel free to email us and include the number of servings you require and amount of tiers.
Can I order a cake with false tiers and sheet cake to cut down costs?
We offer the option of false tiers, however, sometimes it equates to a higher cost overall. False tiers are offered to save in cost when the client opts to not serve as many guests (10-30% rather than the suggested 70%) however if slab cakes are requested in lieu of a real cake, there are no savings. Remember, styrofoam has be decorated as well!
What is your I Do! Collection?
The I Do! Collection is our answer for budget conscience couples! Everyone deserves a beautifully made and great tasting cake. The I Do! Collection consists of beautifully designed wedding cakes at a lower cost. Colours can be customized at no additional cost (excluding metallic gold and silver which is added at a premium cost).

I’ve browsed the I Do! Collection, but I’m looking for something more grand! Do you offer custom cakes?
I Do! Wedding Cakes started out as a custom wedding cake boutique specializing in elaborate designs and we still do that! Our custom designs start at $1500 and go up from there depending on the size and details. At your first consultation, you’ll have a chance to sample our flavors and go through our portfolio of past cakes. You’re encouraged to bring along photos of design elements you would like to include as well. To proceed to with sketched concepts, a non refundable deposit of $250 is required. Is there a tasting fee?
Consultations and tastings are complimentary so long as the initial consultation is booked no earlier than 6 months prior to the date of the event. We appreciate that this is an exciting time and if you wish to visit us for an early consultation, outside of 6 months, a $35 tasting fee is applied. This fee is non-refundable, however if the order is placed within 30 days following the tasting, the fee will be applied to the final balance.
