After a wedding cake consultation, I’m always asked by our couples if I had any tips that I could share with them for their big day. One tip that comes to mind is of course cake related! I always suggest having them ask their venue or catering staff to pack a take away box containing a few slices of their wedding cake. Odds are that they never even had a chance to try a slice of their own cake, and it is a shame to have to wait a full year to take a fork to the top tier.
The Morning After
The take away box makes a nice treat for the limo ride to the hotel/airport, but for an even sweeter moment, have it the next day while you enjoy breakfast with a couple of sparkling mimosas. Here’s to your Happily Ever After!
