I’m not sure about you, but we’re hoping for spring to make an appearance sooner rather than later. We’re over this drab weather and we’re ready for the sunshine. To tide us over until then, we’ve created some spring themed wedding cakes to tide us over and give Mother Nature a gentle nudge!
Our first wedding cake in our new spring I Do! Collection. Ruffles were all the rage in 2015 and we haven’t seen a let down for 2016 with many couples requesting the soft and romantic texture. We created the ruffles in a soft blush pink, giving the cake a glowing hue, and accented the design with a delicate and whimsical piped trim, dotted with edible sugar pearls. Not be completed without our signature sugar flowers, we added a touch of purple to the arrangement for a pop of spring fresh color!
Not just for weddings, this cake would make a beautiful showpiece at any bridal shower.
